Get Ready, Set, Go!

“Set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things” (Colossians 3:1).

“Get ready” is the first step. Number one priority is to know Jesus, to accept Him in your heart and proclaim what He’s done for you. Do you know what He has done? Instead of communicating with individuals like Moses and Abraham, God chose a better way to communicate with us by sending Jesus to be the final sin sacrifice. Once Jesus died, He came back to life, went back to Heaven and left us with the Holy Spirit.

“Set!” is realizing our need for God.

“Go!” Once we have the Holy Spirit, we are to live a life full of joy. Matthew 28:20-21 tells us “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”.
