Terminal Roller Coaster Ride

This world hates us. It becomes more evident each day with the number of people diagnosed with illness, disease, afflictions, depression, allergies and traumatic events. Since the fall of man, we have been enemies of the world. We are on this ride called Earth and depending on which seat you have, you will suffer different ailments. Everyone gets sprayed with seasonal allergies, germs, viruses and bacterium. Some are close to the traumatic event section that experiences hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, fires and floods. The longer we stay on the ride, the more events we experience and usually the more damage our bodies will endure. The purpose of the roller coaster is to eliminate the riders. The roller coaster forks at the end allowing two options for a final destination. There’s One who can alter the course of the ride. Although we will suffer while riding, we can know that there will be a place of peace, joy and love once the ride is over. We can choose the rail to peace where Jesus makes the switch for our lives or we can choose to continue on the same rail we started which ends in destruction. Don’t look at everyone else to decide what you are going to do, the Bible tells us “enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it” (Matthew 7:13). Many are going to choose to stay on the wide rail instead of switching to the narrow one. They need someone to stand up and tell them about the narrow path before they make the wrong choice. Tell someone today about making the switch of a lifetime!
