Red, Yellow, Black and White (and the blendings thereof): They are Precious in His Sight!
We learn this simple song in Sunday School. It seems to be a universal rhyme, but I’m sure several million folks have never heard it and even more millions cannot grasp it. Jesus mentioned this acceptance of all people because there was a problem with it during his day. Ethnic groups hated other groups, hated those born of a particular religion and of course those in different social classes. Racism has been a problem since the beginning of races. Why? It is to keep us divided and full of hate. We don’t particularly know why, it is just the way it has always been. We just keep the tradition of hating going because it’s easier than solving the problem and making a change.
The rise in hatred for others is increasing. We must get into such a traumatic state of hatred so that the idea of “world peace” will become an answer to prayers. The Bible tells us that there will be a New World Order that brings peace and order to the chaotic world we live in now. Revelation 13:3b-4 says, “The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshipped the beast and asked him, ‘Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?'” He will be the man of the hour, the hero that solved the problems. People in every nation will consider him the most intelligent and charismatic man that ever lived. They will do what he says without question, believe what he tells them to without hesitation. He will bring the answers people are looking for. It will make sense to them like evolution. “The way of a fool seems right to him” (Proverbs 12:15a).
So, just wait for it. Wait for the peace to enter the scene and solve our hatred problems. We will only have two divisions in those days. Those that are fools and follow what the “dragon” says and those who realize that Christ and the Bible are real and true. Christians in those times will have terrible trials including facing death, even more so than today. Revelation 13:10b tells us “this calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints”.
