I’ve always been a cloud-namer. I love looking at white fluffy clouds on a bright blue sky and describe the shapes they make. It’s a free story, a day-dreamers delight. One of the challenges of this world is that we are fighting a daily fight against what we cannot see. “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12). Would it be easier to see the enemy we fight daily? I believe NO! We would be scared senseless upon the sight of evil creatures. Many people are pawns in the hands of the enemy which we can visibly see. The S.C. shooter was one of them, yet he didn’t pose a threat until it was too late. So does this mean we are totally helpless? Not at all. We have protection called the armor of God found in Ephesians 6:10-18. The armor includes putting on to cover ourselves against arrows and bullets much like a suit of armor back in the day. The only weapon we have to fight with is the sword, which is the Bible. We must fight evil by memorizing and quoting scripture. All through the day, quote scripture out-loud and make the enemy flee and cringe!
