Transcend the Future

We don’t know what tomorrow will bring. Each day is a gift of new beginnings, new attitudes, probably same job, new problems, and similar routine. Whether we love or hate our jobs and routine, it’s ALL in the attitude in which we approach it. In order to achieve different results in our daily routines, we have to DO something different. I would like to take a ride in the DeLorean to transcend into the future, but it would only cause me to worry and fret over how to modify or change it.

We must take on the challenges we face. We aren’t alone in this process. We could ask our peers and mentors for help and advice. That could lead to more problems, just so you know. I’ve got the best news! Philippians 4:6-7 gives us daily advice for our daily mundane routine life and into the future. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” God has SEEN our future, He planned it. We don’t have to know what tomorrow holds, all we need to do is trust and communicate with God and our plans will be before us like the yellow-brick road. Our road doesn’t lead us to a Wizard, but to a Holy Father who loves us and is waiting with open arms for our home coming.
